On Blogging

Blogging is a strange experience. It’s the act of sending random thoughts into thin air. It’s rather like turning a strobe light on – out of the accumulated chaos of everyday life flash the moments that turned out to be full of grace or inspiration or joy.

I think it is also an attempt to start a conversation with the hope of finding others similarly addicted to our own sources of craziness, happiness, and fulfillment. It means sharing successes as well as half-baked thoughts and monumental failures.

(Sometimes my failures lead to big breakthroughs, and sometimes they are just big ol’ flops – and there is nothing to do but clear the path for whatever may come next.) How do you look at failure?
