Every time I sit down to play, the spectre of “other beginnings” descends like a mist. This little exercise in folk artsy relaxation is coming along slowly – but so it would leave me in peace, today, I stitched the gold outline and worked through a couple other issues.
When I put it back into its box, to await another day, this crazy entrelac tassel spoke up – ” Me next! Me, me me!!”
So I started the next one…
But the real goal was to make one small addition to the piece below:
An entrelac rectangle on the upper right accomplished that.
But, it made an irresistable negative space that must be filled.
A bit of one-one ribbing fixes that problem.
Now I can return to the newest project on my list, an experiment in mixing Mini-Mochi colorways.
That crochet spiral is so lovely, and I’m working on working out how you did it! I found your tutorial so that’s a project for this weekend. Thank you for sharing it!
Thank you, Hope! Please let me know if you have any problems understanding it. I can make a little video for you, or answer any questions. There is SO MUCH you can do to a spiral, too, so I know you will have fun with it. (Let me know if you’d like more ideas!!)
