Cathy found this wonderful print of Weston circa 1840’s, or so. If you look at the upper middle, you can see Florilegium’s white building – right next to the steamboat that’s tied up. Yep, that ‘s a steamboat on the Missouri, right at the end of Main Street. After being involuntarily moved out of our store in Parkville – TWICE – due to high water, I must say I’m grateful the mighty river changed course away from Weston! Let’s hope it stays put for a while…….
