After 22 years of owning a store and a lifetime of collecting, I find little, interesting bits of stuff everywhere I look. Sometimes the bits are too loaded with potential to commit to a final project, so I’ve been making these “stash” journals to help me dream about possibilities for these little finds.
The photos I’m sharing are from some old journals I made years ago. The most interesting thing I noticed about this one is the colorway that extends throughout. These may just be my “soulmate” colors. After all these years they still give me a thrill. Each new page features a different combination of colors from the previous pages.
This kind of journal is never finished. Each time I open it, I think of something to add or change. Today I started working on the next section. It’s a hot-air balloon race through the hills of my imagination.
