Today’s small thing is a row of flowers, crocheted from the wrong side. On a row of single crochets, make flowers, wherever you’d like them, as follows:
As you are single crocheting along the row, decide where you’d like a flower and chain 5. Now, make more than one double crochet in each chain, all the way back down the chain, starting in the second chain from the hook. I usually start with 3 or 4 dc in the 2nd chain, then 2 in all the rest.
When you reach the bottom, just continue single crocheting along the row. It’s also fun to do several rows of flowers, offsetting the flowers on each row (working flowers into the spaces of the previous row.)
