A couple of days ago I dyed lots of silk velvet in Valentine shades and a little Pantone Orchid. Then I had to wait for a chance to play………..
Today was the day! I drew a bunch of crazy flowers on freelace paper, then stitched them in all the shades of the velvet I had chosen. After a lovely afternoon of stitching, by hand and machine, I had this little garden of a pincushion and a big smile.
