woof

Public Experiment 1 5-P1110565

In this collection of inspirations for Public Experiment #1, there is a small book titled “woof“. Unassuming on the front, but loaded with ingenuity and color inside, it is a clever, little handmade marvel. Quilters, weavers, book builders, dreamers, math majors, color enthusiasts, engineers,  and playful people – young and old – will be amazed!

Here are a few pages I hope will tempt you! Each page is hand-built of individual paper strips. And, each page interacts with the ones in front or back of it. It’s hard to show that, here, but I hope you’ll  see some elements in each of the pages, below, that appear in the other pages.

I love “woof” so much that I would like to give away two copies. The first is in perfect condition, the second is not – BUT, I think you will still enjoy it very much. So that I don’t give “woof” to someone who is not interested, I will post a note about it on our Facebook page and throw the names of ALL who “like” it in a “hat”. If you comment on this post, we will ALSO put YOUR name in the hat.  We will draw two names on October 11 and mail the books to the winners!

(Please note: to win the book from Facebook, you do not need to “Like” our page, just the post about it.)

Hi Sue, we had a woof goof…went to put it on Facebook very late last night and fell asleep. I’m going to change the “rules” so that commenting here will automatically enter your name as well. The Facebook post will go up this evening, but YOU are already entered. THANKS so much for your interest!!! Good Luck!

I’m not teaching anymore, but the idea of taking this into a classroom sounds like the perfect tool to excite a group of bored students. I love the idea and the creativity!

I doubt your students were ever bored! May I please be in your class?
