One Small Thing, #17, 18, 19

Here is where scrumble #2 ended. I’ve spent some time thinking about where it will eventually be attached, and I think the photo below makes sense. Ordinarily I do not plan ahead, like this. It’s FREE-er to just merrily scrumble along and worry about the big puzzle, later. But, in this piece I decided early on to carry a few elements throughout; and, since I’m using lots of colors, I want them to be balanced.

One of the elements I want to carry throughout is a “ribbon” of entrelac that will appear to weave over and under the other craziness. Unlike the slip-stitch ribbons, it can be made of any colors I like at the moment.

Since I’m in ribbon mode, I decided to add another slip-stitch ribbon in a different color combination.

Oh, and there’s that enticing, empty triangle begging to be filled. How about some more 1×1 Ribbing?

Here is how it might all fit together. Looking VERY closely, you might see that this is different than my thoughts, above. (But close…).
